Thank you very much, friends, for your encouragement! My way of
proceeding in this is rather unorthodox, I admit. Namely, by
first asking God or my original mind, conscience, or intuition.
I want to refer to Plato to uphold the fundamental soundness of
this method. Plato held that we attain true knowledge by
"recollection" of that which is already within, already native to
us, or, in another expression, that which our spirits knew in
our pre-mortal life. This is rather unorthodox according to
Unification Principle, however, we may rephrase or reinterpret it
to understand that, we come from God, or spirits ultimately come
from God, and fundamentally, that true knowledge of original and
ultimate things is accessible to us as His children. And this is
exactly the area which is now the object of the quest of science
at its ultimate frontier now: Science is coming back to the
recognition and understanding of the true God, the Origin of the
creation and of the spirit of man, and, not only that, but the
living, vital foundation of all present existence. Most greatly,
He is the source of our life, love, and salvation.

Why do we need God in science? To understand or explain the very
foundation of matter and energy, space and time, mathematics,
principles, laws, forces, creativity, design, programs. But, I
always find that the greatest, fullness awareness of God comes
through that which is most human -- love, consciousness, hopes
and inspirations. So, each person, great and small, smart and
ignorant, may reach intimacy with God.

Science may help mankind in the way of understanding and also in
technology to really lift up man's standard of living. I never
need myself to be convinced of the value of science! I am its
committed fanatic too.

Now, I want to address, first of all, the title of "Unified Field
Theory". The original sense of this title was applied by Albert
Einstein in the search to unify the four fundamental forces or
interactions -- gravity, electromagnetism, and strong and weak
nuclear forces. I will summarize my answer to this problem
shortly. Why do I use the title of "Unified Field Theory" for
what I have discovered, knowing full well what the physicists are
searching for? I want to maintain, in so speaking, that in fact,
the former title is very much applicable as well for the more
general concept of unification of the fields of sciences.

The second area I want to approach is the issue of the necessity
of mathematics in science. I likewise maintain that mathematics
is one of the most pure and essential foundations of the
universe. However, my purpose is to define the framework and the
position in the hierarchy so to speak in which mathematics holds.

Thus beginning...

The answer to the question of the Unified Field Theory is:

There is no self-contained solution, mathematical nor physical,
which can unify the four fundamental interactions. However, they
may be unified by the concept of "God", in the way in which I
shall explain.

Why can the four fundamental physical forces not be unified?
Again, the answer comes back to God. Why? Because God designed
or programmed the means of operation as well as the cosmological
constants of each of the four fundamental interactions, in order
to tune and balance them so that they would enable a universe to
exist in which physical matter of the type we know can exist, for
the ultimate purpose of creating man and human society, in which
God's spirit and heart can come and dwell -- fulfilling His
ultimate purpose.

The four fundamental interactions, including the type of
interactions they present, as well as their relative intensities
or constants, cannot be derived automatically one from another.
They are not automatic in operation by any means. They are,
furthermore, not monolithic and ultimate. Rather, they are
pillars participating in the creation and existence of the
universe, and standing upon something more fundamental. I will
clarify exactly what this is.

Thus we come to the subject of "hierarchy" or order of creation.

Starting from God, the order of the created world, namely the
physical universe, is as follows:

1. God's Heart (deep emotional purpose or desire). This is most
fundamental in all the universe.
2. God's Purpose. The purpose comes from His deepest Heart. The
purpose is to find His total reflection in His object, with whom
He can have loving give-and-take, and thereby infinite joy.
3. God's Providence. The plan or strategy to fulfill His purpose.
4. Primary Logos. The general principle, plan, and design of the
universe, in order to fulfill His Will (Providence). This may be
called the "Divine Principle" -- not a book or teaching, but the
truth more internal and ultimate at the root of that.
5. Secondary or subordinate Logos. Designs of specific aspects,
beings, entities, or procedures in the created world.
6. Universal Prime Force I. The force or energy of give-and-take
action within God Himself. His immanent energy or action.
7. Universal Prime Force II. The directive energy which operates
out of Logos and upon UPF III, to bring about concrete results.
8. Universal Prime Force III. The origin of physical energy and
matter.
9. Unified fields. These exist only in the "sung-sang" realm, or
"vertical axis or plane" of the physical world. They receive the
coordinating, executive direction from Secondary Logos through
UPF II, and likewise report back to God via UPF II through Logos.
In turn, the unified field coordinates the subordinate unified
fields at a lower level of the hierarchy, down to the sung-sangs
of individual particles or entities.
9. Lower-order unified fields. In order of hierarchy, on down...
10. Subquarks. These consist of mathematical entities in
imaginary time and space, but which are transcendental, having
the property of being able to manifest "across the border" into
the realm of physical time and space. They are spontaneous, but
must obey to a certain degree the executive direction coming down
from Logos through UPF and the unified fields.
11. Gravity as a field-effect interaction, not mediated by any
particle. Gravity however possesses a "radar", operating through
higher-order unified fields, to determine the direction and
intensity of its field strength.
12. Particles: Photons, quarks, electrons, etc. Photons also
measure and define physical space. Each particle is associated
with a rotating sung-sang vector in the vertical dimension or
complex plane. These are the lowest level of tangible physical
entities. They interact according to the four fundamental forces
or interactions. Some of them are likewise the mediators for
the interactions of other particles.
13. Hadrons, leptons, etc. Composites of lower-level particles.
14. Nucleus.
15. Atoms, ions, plasma, etc.
16. Molecules, radicals, molecular building blocks, etc.
17. Higher-order molecules -- enzymes, DNA, etc.
18. Chromosomes.
19. Cellular organelles. Cellular machines, power plants,
factories.
20. Living cell. At the level of the cell, the unified field
identified in the generic sense as "life" engages. The cell
already possesses proto-consciousness, perception, etc.
21. Tissues. Associations of cells for a unified purpose.
22. Organs. Controlled externally by nerves, but also sensitive
spiritually and in the sung-sang realm.
23. Systems. A higher order of coordinated organization.
24. The physical body (in the animal sense). Yet it is not only
physical, but possesses many wonderful layers of sung-sang,
unified fields -- by no means a dead material or mechanical
object.
25. The human being. Defined particularly by our mind, spirit,
and soul. This is the level of sung-sang or unified field which
does not exist in animals, or only in a rudimentary, transient
way. God can come to relate with and dwell in the human being,
completing for the first time the circle of creation. We must
think of such a holy and true human as Jesus Christ.
26. The couple -- husband and wife together, as one being. This
we call True Parents, the ideal for all people, which Jesus
Christ intends to fulfill at His Second Coming.
27. The family. The True Family, which is eternal on this earth,
being propagated in a continuum from generation to generation.
There is a level of family consciousness which is even beyond the
individual.
28. The community, clan, tribe, or society. Many different types
of organizations, some temporary, some eternal. But each has a
spirit, mind, or "collective consciousness".
29. The nation. The nation has a life, and we should be patriotic
in the true sense. We would give our life for our nation.
30. Bloc or supranational alliance. Usually a fallen concept, but
even in the original sense, the association of neighboring
nations on the basis of geography or trade.
31. Mankind. Presently the whole Earth. "I belong to the human
race."
32. The universal human race. In the future I suppose we will
populate the solar system, the Milky Galaxy, and beyond. Thus,
God must have made it possible for us to transcend the barrier of
the speed of light, etc. This is also a field of my research.
33. The cosmos. Includes the spirit world, our ancestors...
34. Back to God.

Risking being pedantic, I wanted to lay out clearly my conception
of the general plan, design, or hierarchy of structure of the
physical universe.

Divine Principle explains more about the relationship between the
spiritual world and physical world centering on man.

You can find superb discussions of the organization and quality
of the spiritual world in Emmanuel Swedenborg, Anthony Borgas, et
al.

I think Dr. Yuri Kulakov has excelled in his description of the
"Theory of Physical Structures", which I understand to be but a
small taste of all that he has done, all that he understands and
has illuminated. I want to say that I whole-heartedly agree with
and support all of his insights, including those on the value of
Orthodoxy or Christianity. I think his area of investigation has
emphasized somewhat different topics than mine, yet I believe
they complement each other very nicely.

By the above discussion, I hoped to explain that my title of
"Unified Field Theory" is indeed appropriate, and that,
discovering the true nature and origin of the four fundamental
physical forces, they can only be understood in the light of such
a general perspective. At the same time, that general perspective
nicely includes higher-order scientific fields, including biology,
geology, astronomy, technology, psychology, sociology, medicine
-- even art and other humanitarian areas of interest.

To summarize, what are the essential new points of "Unified Field
Theory", which are essential to explain the four fundamental
interactions, and likewise apply to the higher-order fields?
They are: God; sung-sang; vertical; rotating vectors; unified
fields; vertical and horizontal coordination; purpose; heart...

Actually, these things are all found in Divine Principle and in
Unification Thought, but I organized and clarified and extended
the concepts to specifically answer important questions in
science and to tie together some more religious and
philosophical areas with the physical knowledge in a rather
concrete way.

Now, some things remain to be done:

(1) Explain the origin and importance of mathematics.
(2) How can Unified Field Theory be practically applied?
(3) What areas remain to be opened and explored?
(4) How can we concretely further research these topics?

I have many suggestions for the future in this development.
It is a very exciting, nascent field, and promises to bring about
a revolution even greater than the Renaissance did. Somehow a
return to something human and religious. A real homecoming. This
is going on at the same time in other fields, including religion
itself, and by such distinguished gentlemen as Professor Yuri
Kulakov, whom I truly respect and desire to further our
acquaintance.

Thank you for your time.
