The New King and Queen
How Politics Connects with Unified Field Theory

Marxism was such a theory which dealt with
everything, explained everything; also called for
political and social action in every area.
Look at the products of Marxist thinking and
social action: more oppression, the worst human
rights violations, inferior technology and productivity,
stultified creativity ("socialist realism"), an attitude
of insincerity and half-hearted investment in work
and family too, repressed problems of racism,
alcoholism, sexual abuse, mafia -- all of which
exploded into reality upon the collapse of the
socialist states when the repression was lifted.
The message? -- Be careful of theories and
systems of political and social organization
which explain everything, dictate everything,
control or manage everything. We have the same
tendency in American society too.
     Beware of "political correctness" too.
With that warning in advance, I want to now
offer, myself, also, a political theory which likewise
may raise a claim to "explain everything" or "call
us to take a political stand in light of..." this
perspective.
Then, with the warning of the tragedy and
the travesty of Communism, we may also try
to foresee the ills, the weaknesses, or the points
that are likely to be neglected if such an ideology
comes into a leading position.
The new ideology is Unification Thought. It
is an outworking by the Late Dr. Sang Hun Lee
of Rev. Sun Myung Moon's revelations in Divine
Principle, with the express intention to "solve
social problems".
I'm in favor of it, I agree with it, with the
advisory I have mentioned in the beginning above,
since we have seen what ideologies can do in the
destructive sense, and at the same time we may
foresee the rise of unificationism as a new
leading ideology or system of thought.
I went on to work out or clarify some further
aspects and fundamentals of Divine Principle
and Unification Thought in my version of "The
Unified Field Theory".
Unified Field Theory began as an effort to
solve the unsolved problems Einstein was
grappling with, and I began to get concrete
answers in 1995. I have been criticized by
physicists for presenting Unified Field Theory as
a humanitarian field of knowledge and study,
and I want to reply that: "Unified Field Theory,
which explains unsolved fundamental problems
in physics, also is humanitarian, giving an
approach to social issues, and furthermore
it is religious!" That is, it revolutionizes physics.
Have you ever noticed that many leading
scientists, especially physicists, are very
politically, socially, or religiously active? Take
the examples of Albert Einstein, Andrei
Sakharov, or [Guggenheimer? Oppenheimer?].
Why? It's because: (1) Humanity was not
created as an afterthought upon the foundation
of the fundamental particles and forces after
the Big Bang; instead, the human being was
conceived first in the mind of God, and then,
with that express purpose in mind, He
proceeded to design the fundamental forces,
particles, interactions, universal laws, and
cosmological constants accordingly, so as
to make a suitable universe in which for us
to live. (2) The same principles (subject and
object, balance, positivity and negativity,
sung-sang and hyung-sang (eidos and hyle),
nested or superimposed relationships,
existence for the higher purpose, etc.) as
operate on the subatomic level and the
astronomical level, also operate in the
human mind, in the family, in society, and
among the nations. Also in business!
     What was wrong with Communism?
(1) They denied God. (2) They proposed a
theory of reality based on material only,
which is wrong. (3) They advocated violent
contradiction instead of harmonious give-
and-take relationships. (4) They denied the
value of each human life. (5) They denied
the eternal life in spiritual world. (6) They
constructed subject-object relations of
oppression instead of mutual benefit,
cooperation, consultation, etc. (7) They
ignored true human nature. (8) They denied
the value of the family -- politicized and
destroyed the family base of society. Etc.
I have so much bad to say about Communism!
     But Western, particularly American, society
has no ideology to replace or supplant
Marxism. Do you think capitalism as a way
of life is a substitute? No -- capitalism also
breeds materialism, individualism, family
breakdown (TV, advertisment, prostitution,
free sex), and all kinds of social injustices.
How about monarchy? -- Forget it. Look at
the warning God gave in the Bible when the
Israelites chose for themselves Saul as king.
That's also why we fought the Revolutionary
War. Etc.
The conclusion is that America is
operating without a true ideology, or for that
matter, ideal. Didn't we throw away Americanism
as an ideal in the Sixties? With plenty of good
reason too. Any national ideal, in the sense
of nationalism, always breeds enemies. How
do you define who is good? That is one of the
main reasons for the war in Yugoslavia right
now: nationalism (along with racism and
religious bigotry).
Shall we then set up a religion as our
national ideology? How about a State
Religion? Never! Then religion loses its purpose
of conscience and salvation, and becomes a
tool of the state. Here in Russia the attempt
is being made to institute a state religion. This
will also generate "Undesirables" (like the
Unification Church, or any other minority).
The family must be the basis of the
society, and that family centered upon
conscientious individuals, with God as the
Parent of all mankind, but not prefering any
one religion over the other. The family is also
the model or pattern of the social order, of
businesses, organizations, the nation is also
a family, and the whole of mankind is a
family with True Parents under God.
In a family, you can do business, you can
be rich or poor, but basically we are brothers
and sisters and we have common parents or
ancestors, and we take care of one another,
but not just as a handout. A family common
sense rules, operating through conscience
and principle, of course. Of course there is
a constitution and laws, but the laws are
written on our hearts, and we live by the law
because we want to and we love each other.
I already live in such a community. At
various times in history, tribes and nations
have lived as a family, but they never had the
capacity to embrace and love someone
beyond themselves. Christianity came the
closest, as a religion, but has also failed.
Anyway, now is the time, and it is possible.
I have an answer or solution to a new world
order of righteousness, goodness and love.
It is the way of life proposed (and lived) by
our Family Federation for World Peace and
Unification, founded by Rev. and Mrs. Sun
Myung Moon (yes, that name keeps coming
back, even if people didn't want to hear it,
because they are the right ones, the genuine
ones, and they are still here, in spite of all
rumors to the contrary!).
You know that the one who deeply knows
God's Heart could not be an aggressor or
a persecutor. He would instead be the one
who goes to the bottom of the world, through
hell and suffering, to save mankind. He is the
one of whom it is said in the Bible, "He was
rejected and despised of men..." Now he
shows up as the Prince of Peace, the Wise
Counselor, the Almighty God, Everlasting
Father.... And she is the one of whom it is
said, "And I beheld the face of the Bride
of the Lamb..."
They are good, because they are indeed
the parents of mankind, and because he
discovered the wonderful truth buried for
all the ages, and he is worthy to be Parent
and King.
If there will be a King and Queen of
mankind, it would have to be someone,
wouldn't it? Who would they be? Suggest
anyone, and someone will have objections!
Well, I have suggested someone, and, since
all possible objections have already been
made, and he is still there... well, maybe
he is the best possible candidate.
And, don't worry, he is already 80
years old, so, if you don't like him, you
won't have to be bothered too much longer.
Unless, like Moses, he lives to be 120
(which I doubt!).
Now, after the King passes on, there
will of course be the Queen! But our Mother
is very kind and gentle, the best of all
historical princesses, brides, and mothers
of nations. In case you want to find out
what she's like, you may attend any one
of her numerous appearances worldwide
on her world speaking tour at this time.

     All in love...
     William Stoertz
