The Purpose and Sense of It

Although the war in Yugoslavia continues, the
purpose and sense of it has been clarified, or has
become clear:
1. We must live together and love one another,
going beyond differences of race, religion, nationality
or language.
2. The fallen people in their miserable state of
evil mind are an outrage to Heaven and earth.
3. The depravity of men on earth causes anguish
and contention even in heaven.
4. Even the mighty forces of heaven and earth
cannot change the ill will and ill doings of people
against their will -- they will do them anyway.
5. What goes around comes around, or in other
words, "Here we go again," meaning that what had
not been completely restored in the past will crop
up again in the times of restitution of all things.
6. Evil people tend to go back to their wicked
ways, and the same patterns repeat. In the Bible,
"A dog returns to his vomit."
7. This is the Judgment Day.
8. What people want, they will get, absolutely,
inevitably, and by all means. If they are good, their
good desire will be fulfilled ultimately. If they are
evil, they will eventually attain the object of their
evil desire.
9. Let us build the Kingdom of Heaven, "right
away!"
10. All the different people of this world can
never unite and never make peace except through
the common Parents of all mankind, the Parents
of Heaven and earth.
11. In spite of her mistakes, America (the USA)
is the nation of God, and having passed through
the scathing fire of judgment herself, is now in the
position to do God's will on the world level.
12. God can and will even work through sinful
people if and when they take the position of
responsibility in His providence.
I just wrote down the above as reflections upon
the situation in Yugoslavia. Although the war is
going on, the essence of it and the message of
it has already become clear. We can continue,
but actually we cannot prevent them from hating
and fighting, if that's what they want to do.
Meanwhile, Yugoslavia, and especially Kosovo,
which was already a poor country, have become
destroyed, for both sides. They should not see it
as something that America or NATO did, but
what they brought upon themselves by their
mutual hatred. Then let this be a lesson for all
those others who continue to hate each other,
that that is not the way.
At the same time, probably in the future, the
big countries and the world simply will not intervene
in these situations, because it is just a big mess,
and nothing anyone does can resolve it, except
they themselves.
The United Nations will most certainly gain a
greater role from now on, and individual nations
including the USA will most likely defer to the
UN for matters like this. The likely role of the USA
and NATO in the future will be to help conduct
international diplomacy as well as relief, and to
help protect or enforce UN policies and mandates.
But the UN needs an absolute moral center,
standard, and principle. If it is done right, this can
be the Constitution of the Heavenly Kingdom on
Earth.
Of course, you and I know: such a thing cannot
be the doing of people, by putting their heads
together!
So let's get beyond Kosovo and move on to
the real business and task at hand.
